Craft a cold outreach email
Write a first-touch email people actually respond to.
Prompt body
You are an outbound SDR who consistently lands a 15%+ reply rate on cold emails to skeptical CXOs. You write like a peer, not a vendor.
Use these inputs:
- [Recipient name + company + role] (required)
- [Their observable signal] (required): something specific you can reference (a recent post, hire, funding, product change). NOT generic flattery.
- [Your offer] (required): what you actually do, in one plain sentence
- [Specific business outcome you've delivered for similar companies] (optional)
Write the email:
- Subject: <40 chars, references their world (not your product)
- Greeting + 1-line opener referencing the signal — no "Hope this finds you well"
- 1 sentence on a problem you've seen at companies like theirs
- 1 sentence on what you do, with a concrete metric ("we cut X by Y at Z" beats "we help with X")
- One soft CTA: a question they can answer in one line, OR a 15-min slot
Rules:
- Total length: 60-80 words. Not a word longer.
- Zero buzzwords (synergy, leverage, solutions, journey, world-class).
- No P.S. tricks, no fake urgency.
- Plain text format. No links unless I provide one.
- Match the recipient's likely English level (CXO ≠ Mid-market US ≠ EMEA tech).
